Effective October 7, 2026. This notice describes the SheetSpeed development extension and this website. SheetSpeed is operated by JARVIS; contact jarvis@agi-jarvis.com with questions.
What the extension reads
SheetSpeed runs on Google Sheets and Slides document pages. Native commands use the document’s visible controls, selection and formula text. Connected data tools make requests to Google’s Sheets API to read and change spreadsheet data for the command you select.
The optional Google authorization requests the spreadsheets scope: permission to read and write spreadsheets on the connected account. That account-level permission is broader than one selected document. SheetSpeed’s command handlers check the requesting document and command range; those checks do not narrow Google’s permission grant.
What stays in your Chrome profile
Preferences, shortcuts, formatting settings, undo records and interrupted modeling recovery journals are stored locally. Undo and recovery records can contain cell values, formulas and formatting. Completed undo records with a creation date are excluded from loaded history after 30 days. Stored copies remain until history is rewritten or cleared; storage limits can remove older completed records sooner. Pending recovery records remain until recovery is resolved. Temporary copied formatting and pending AI fill proposals also use Chrome session storage, which clears when Chrome restarts or the extension is reloaded, updated or disabled.
Settings sync is optional and uses Chrome’s storage sync service. When enabled, the settings you choose to sync are handled by Google through Chrome sync. Workbook recovery records are not part of that settings sync.
Google access and authorization tokens
Chrome’s identity service manages Google authorization tokens. SheetSpeed uses them in its background process to make requests to Google, not to a SheetSpeed account server. You can disconnect in SheetSpeed Settings and revoke the app’s access from your Google Account. Disconnecting retains local recovery records so interrupted work can be reconciled.
Optional AI requests
The separate local AI helper sends requests through the configured JARVIS provider connection to DeepSeek. Before sending, the extension previews the question and captured cell context and requires a Send action. Context can include selected cells, static formula precedents and the displayed conversation history. Capturing context alone does not send it to the AI provider.
Only send information you are authorized to share with that provider. The provider’s own policies apply to information it receives. The AI helper is optional and is not required for native keyboard commands.
The helper stores request timestamps and its latest connection-stage diagnostic on the computer, outside Chrome. It does not store questions, workbook context or answers. These records and helper files remain after extension removal or helper unregistration until separately removed. Request timestamps have no automatic cleanup in the current helper. The configured JARVIS service also records usage attribution.
Analytics and sharing
The extension contains no analytics or advertising code and does not sell spreadsheet data. Data requests go to Google for connected tools and interrupted modeling recovery. With Google access available, opening SheetSpeed or checking its status can retry recovery: it reads recorded input cells and restores originals where the current value still matches the recorded temporary value. If it finds another value, it preserves that value and reports unresolved recovery. The check and restoration are separate requests, so use modeling tools on copies without concurrent editors. Optional AI requests follow the separately confirmed path above. Settings exports and spreadsheet exports go to the location or destination you choose.
This website
This site does not collect spreadsheet data or provide an account signup form. Its hosting provider handles web requests, which include ordinary connection information such as IP address and browser headers. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives those font requests. The interactive example uses sample data only and runs in your browser.
Removing local records
SheetSpeed Settings can clear completed undo history when no recovery is pending. Uninstalling the extension removes its extension storage. Resolve pending modeling recovery before uninstalling: removing local records does not restore a temporary value left in Google Sheets.
Changes and contact
This notice will be updated when SheetSpeed’s data handling changes. For data-handling questions, write to jarvis@agi-jarvis.com. Do not include confidential workbook contents in an unsolicited support message.
